डिजिटल इंडिया अभियान द्वारा पूरे भारत को डिजिटल क्रांति से जोड़ना है इसके तीन प्रमुख स्तंभ डिजिटल आधारभूत ढांचा डिजिटल सेवा डिजिटल साक्षरता है जिससे डिजिटल इंडिया को मूर्त रूप में दिया जा सकता है|
ब्रॉडबैंड हाईवे मोबाइल कनेक्टिविटी का पूर्ण विकास सार्वजनिक इंटरनेट पहुंच ही प्रशासन तकनीक से सरकारी तंत्र में पारदर्शिता इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स निर्माण से शून्य आयात के अस्तर को पाना प्रौद्योगिकी व सूचना के क्षेत्र में रोजगार का सृजन आदि लक्ष्यों को पाया जा सकता है|

उल्लेखनीय है कि आज भी भारत के कुछ गांव जो अंधकार से निजात पाने के लिए बिजली को तरस रहे हैं उन्हें डिजिटल दुनिया से जोड़ना अपने आप में चुनौतीपूर्ण होगा इसके अलावा साइबर क्राइम का बढ़ता दायर लोगों में साक्षरता की कमी ध्यान देने योग्य है|
अंतर डिजिटल इंडिया ने भारत के महाशक्ति बनने की उड़ान में नई तकनीकी पंख लगा दिए हैं इससे न केवल सामाजिक आर्थिक विषमताएं दूर होंगी अपितु राष्ट्रीय एकता और अखंडता को नया आधार भी मिलेगा और हम तेजी से विश्व अर्थव्यवस्था के साथ समावेशी विकास की दिशा में बढ़ चलेंगे|
